Sota Yukimura (Hokuto Matsumura) works in the secondary brand division of the cosmetics company \"Nose Cosmetics.\" Just as his long-held feelings for his boss, Mariko Nose (Sae Okazaki)—whom he has loved from afar for 25 years—seem on the verge of being reciprocated, he is exposed for having secretly followed her social media accounts for years. Realizing that their shared interests, his timely appearances when she needed someone, and his comments suggesting he had known her for ages were no mere coincidences, Mariko looks at Sota with fearful eyes. Meanwhile, Taisuke Sakura (Tetsuji Tamayama)—a detective from the First Investigation Division who is actually the killer of \"Nose Cosmetics\" executive Tsuyoshi Tateiwa (Tomomi Maruyama)—strangles Mariko's stepmother, Sayuri (Miki Mizuno), to silence her after she discovers his secret.
