Set in the stunning Crystal Ridge National Park, the series follows former military police officer Jodi Larsen as she returns to her hometown to serve as a criminal investigator for the National Park Police. As Jodi protects the park and its visitors from both natural and human threats, she navigates a new team, personal loss, and an unexpected partnership with Blue, a mischievous stray Labrador whose instincts prove invaluable in solving cases.
The canine, Blue, a golden Labrador Retriever is played by three brothers, River, Comet and Canyon. River is considered the \"star\" of the three.
